What is useful to know?
For example, mention:
- What's needed? (fit spotlights / add a light point / move a light point / repair)
- How many spots or light points?
- Surface or recessed? (surface / recessed / n/a)
- What kind of ceiling? (concrete / plasterboard / wood / suspended / spray plaster or boards / don't know)
- When was the home built? (before 1994 / 1994 or later / don't know)
Agree the exact work and materials with the professional before accepting. A preferred time is not a confirmed appointment.
Not included
Existing circuit only, with cable in trunking or a hollow wall; no new circuit or fuse box work; no recessed spots in a concrete ceiling or the ceiling between two homes (surface spots only there); no drilling into pre-1994 ceiling boards or spray plaster (possible asbestos); no garden lighting.

Is Doenzo in my area?
Doenzo is active in Zuid-Holland. Independent professionals with a KvK registration are signing up now; we check their KvK number in the Dutch Business Register. Customer requests open per service area once enough approved professionals are available there. Want to know when? Email info@doenzo.net.
What happens to my request?
Doenzo reviews every request first. Independent professionals can then propose an all-in price and a time; at that stage they do not see your name or contact details. You compare the proposals and share your details with the professionals you want to talk to, or with nobody.
What does Doenzo cost me?
Nothing. You pay the professional directly, and no commission comes off your job amount. Professionals pay Doenzo only when you share your details with them.
How is the price determined?
The independent professional sets the all-in rate based on your description. The price and time are clear before you agree.
Which professionals does Doenzo accept?
Only independent professionals with an active KvK registration (the Dutch Chamber of Commerce) can sign up. After a short introductory conversation, Doenzo decides whether to accept them. We do not check diplomas, insurance or the quality of their work.
What if I change my mind?
You are not tied to anything: you share your details only with whom you choose, and you do not have to share with anyone.
Can I combine several jobs?
Yes. Choose Various small jobs and put each job on its own line.
Can I find home or office cleaning?
Coming soon. Home and office cleaning will each have their own category, but you cannot request them yet. For your home we will then ask about rooms and bathrooms; for your office about floor area, shared spaces and out-of-hours cleaning.
What is outside the scope?
No boilers, gas or fuse boxes, and no refrigerant work on air conditioning or heat pumps (installing, refilling). No asbestos, roof or gutter work, work that needs scaffolding, garden work, full renovations or whole-house painting.
